JAMMU, Feb 26: The Jammu University has disaffiliated New Gandhi Memorial College of Education, Miran Sahib, for a period of three academic sessions and forfeited endowment fund of the college.
Decision in this regard was taken by the College Development Council of JU, following refusal of the B Ed College to make admission for the session 2015-17.
The New Gandhi Memorial College of Education is disaffiliated for a period of three academic sessions with effect from session 2015-16 and the endowment fund created by the college, amounting to Rs 5 lacs, pledged to the Registrar, JU, is hereby forfeited by the university, says an order, issued by the Director College Development Council.
