JU felicitates MBA students selected through Campus Placement Drive

JAMMU, Aug 27: In order to felicitate the MBA students, selected through Campus Placement Drive a function organized by the Business School, University of Jammu was held here today.
Ramesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu was the Chief Guest of the occasion, while the function was presided over by the Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, Prof. Umesh Rai.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Rai congratulated the students who have secured placements, acknowledging their hard work and determination.
He underscored the significance of sincere and dedicated efforts, urging the students to approach their duties with honesty and integrity, without being overly concerned about immediate outcomes.
Prof. Rai, drawing inspiration from Swami Vivekananda, reminded the students of the powerful impact that a single educated individual can have on society and encouraged them to use their education to make meaningful contributions to those in need, emphasizing that their success, as reflected in the recent placements, will naturally follow when they dedicate themselves to serving others with integrity and purpose.
Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, while congratulating Prof. Umesh Rai, Prof. Vinay Chauhan and the selected students, emphasized that such achievements reflect the institution’s dedication towards providing top-tier education that not only excels in quality but also offers exceptional value to its students.
Earlier, Prof. Chauhan appraised the house about the placements at Deputy Manager Level 2 with a package of more than 10 Lakhs, which is at par with the top rank institutions of the country.
This year students namely Chatinya Sharma, Aditi Anand, Pratham Gupta, Savi Gupta, Sarthak Gupta, Rudhra Gupta, Akshat Gupta, Aditya Sharma, Ramit Goel and Vishal Kumar got selected.
Prof. Alka Sharma, Dean Business Studies concluded the event and presented the formal vote of thanks.
