JAMMU, Aug 30: Jammu University today held a meeting with regard to implementing various points in tune with the directives of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt of India, for the digitalization of various Universities across the country by the end of the year 2017.
During the meeting, a power-point presentation was given by Prof Manoj Dhar on the points needed for making JU digitalized. He gave detailed information about all the points to be implemented in the main campus and its Offsite Campuses.
The meeting held detailed discussions on each point and ways and means were suggested for the implementation of the same in JU.
Vice Chancellor Prof R D Sharma stressed on the role of digitalization and its benefits to the faculty, scholars and all stakeholders. He said this initiative will go a long way in benefitting students in particular.
The meeting was attended by Prof Keshav Sharma, Dr Meenakshi Kilam, Prof Jigar Mohammad, Prof. Desh Bandhu, Prof. Kulwant Singh, Prof. Satnam Kour, J.K. Sharma, Sanjeev Mahajan and others.
