JU girl brings laurels for State

JAMMU, Aug  5: Marvi Slathia, a student of University of Jammu has brought laurels for entire State, by making it to the top slot across country, in the entrance examination for M Phil programme, in Center for Russia and Central Asia (RCAP) in School of International Studies at Jawahar Lal Nehru University, New Delhi.
Daughter of Kumari Rita and Sunil Singh, resident of Ward No 13, Hatli Morh Kathua, a student of MA Political Science in University of Jammu, Marvi Slathia was among the 125 students selected from across the country for viva-voice, held on July 14.
Only 40 students were selected for M Phil course in RCAP, out of which Marvi Slathia of Jammu University has topped in merit list with registration number 55180.  Expressing cheerfulness over the achievement, Marvi Slathia thanked the Jammu University administration, faculty members of Political Science Department, her parents and friends for this achievement.
