JAMMU, Aug 31: The Law School, University of Jammu, today organized a one- day orientation workshop for the fresher students.
The workshop began with the opening words by Dr Monica Narang (coordinator Rangers and Rover). The students were welcomed by the fraternity to the institution and then they were introduced to the organization Scouts and Guides (Rangers and Rovers wing).
The workshop was conducted by the mentors, Smiley Gupta and Gurpreet Singh, who told students about the history of the organization and its working. There were arrangements of certain activities for the students in which they participated with enthusiasm.
Afterwards, the teachers motivated and showered knowledge to the students. These teachers included Dr Seema Rohmetra, Dr Seema Sharma and Dr Renu Jamwal, They told students the importance of youth for the betterment of the society by their participation in social works and every day efforts.
