JU Law School organizes ‘Pravesh Training’ for Rovers & Rangers

JAMMU, Nov 4: The Law School of Jammu University, in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir State Bharat Scouts and Guides Association, organized a `Pravesh Training’ camp in which students of the Law School participated.
I D Soni (State Commis-sioner J&KBS&G), was chief guest in the opening ceremony while H.L Dogra, M M Sharma, R P Kotwal and Rajesh Vaid also graced the occasion.
In his address, I D Soni motivated the Rovers/Rangers to come up with good values to serve for the Society, and also briefed the students about the Scouting and Guiding.
Director of the JU Law School, Dr Sanjay Gupta, threw light on the Scouting and Guiding and especially about the importance of Rovering and Rangering in Jammu University.
In the training programme, 20 Rovers / Rangers and staff members of the Law School took active part and were briefed by Haroon Malik (Leader of the Training programme).
The training programme was conducted under the Supervision of Dr Monica Narang Sr Asst Professor Cum Incharge of Rovering and Rangering in the Law School with the support of Smiley Gupta (Vice chairperson SYC J&K BS&G).
The programme was attended by Dr Seema Sharma, Dr Seema Rohmetra, Dr Mrinalini Attrey, Dr Navddep Kour and Dr Deepti Gupta while Smiley Gupta presented vote of thanks.
