JAMMU, Aug 9: The University of Jammu organized an “Open House Interaction” on four year undergraduate Degree programme: `Design Your Degree’.
The programme was held in a cordial atmosphere in which parents and the students held interaction with faculty members with regard to various aspects of the courses. The participants had an opportunity to have one-on-one interaction with faculty members.
This personalized guidance will assist them in clearing their doubts and chart future courses of action. The aim of this event was to explain to the participants in detail the transformative potential of “Design Your Degree” to individual aspirations and career goals.
It is pertinent to mention here that “Design Your Degree” represents a paradigm shift in higher education, putting students at the forefront of their learning experience. The University of Jammu is committed to preparing graduates who are adaptable, creative, and ready to thrive in a world where innovation and agility are paramount.
At the end of the presentation by Dr Sadaf Shah, Associate Professor, Department of English, various queries were raised which were addressed satisfactorily by the faculty members. Students took an active part in the discussion and shared excellent suggestions. Earlier, Prof Alka Sharma, Director, SIIEDC briefed the participants about the `Design Your Degree’ and laid out the various contours of the program.
