JAMMU, Nov 29: Roshi Sharma, Research Scholar, Department of Botany, University of Jammu has been conferred with the Dr. M.J.Thirumalachar Young Scientist Best Poster Presentation Award for her paper titled “Incidence of some agarics from the plains of Jammu, (J&K)” at the National Conference on Fungal Biology: Recent Trends and Future Prospects & 44thAnnual Meeting of the Mycological Society of India held at University of Jammu from November, 16 to 18.
Roshi Sharma is presently pursuing her Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. and Head,Yash Pal Sharma, Department of Botany, University of Jammu, Jammu.
Her research work has been highly appreciated and in the past couple of months she has also got third prize in the Poster Presentation at 12th JK Science Congress on the theme “Science and Technology: Emerging Trends and Innovation held at University of Jammu from March,2 to 4 this year.
