JAMMU, June 30: Shivali Verma, Research Scholar, Department of Botany, University of Jammu (JU) got the 2nd best poster presentation award at 26th International Conference on Sexual plant Reproduction held in Prague, Czech Republic from June 20-24.
She was among the 189 young participants who competed in this category at this international forum. The Conference was attended by more than 300 participants from 28 different countries.
Shivali Verma is pursuing her PhD under the supervision of Dr Namrata Sharma, Professor of Botany at University of Jammu. The research work presented in this poster is an outcome of the NHMS project sanctioned jointly to the University of Jammu and the University of Kashmir.
