JAMMU, Oct 27: “Shah Khasnas Taam”, a poetry book of reputed Urdu poet Khusbeer Singh Shaad, translated in Kashmiri language by Dr Shahida Shabnum, was released today by Prof Manoj Kumar Dhar, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu.
The book release function was organized by the Institute of Music and Fine Arts (IMFA) in collaboration with Department of Urdu, University of Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, prominent Urdu and Punjabi writer, Khalid Hussain emphasized that more Urdu books should be translated in regional languages that also includes Dogri and Punjabi.
Prof Mohd Reyaz Ahmed , HOD Urdu, JU presented a welcome address while Prof Shohab Inayat Malik, Principal Institute of Music and Fine Arts (IMFA), conducted proceedings of the program.
