JAMMU, June 10: A review meeting to ascertain the progress of construction activities on Campus and that of the Institute of Science and Technology at Poonch Campus was held in the Committee room of Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat, JU.
Prof Dhar took review of the progress of the works being undertaken in the construction of the Institute of Science and technology at Poonch Campus of Jammu University. He mentioned that this state-of-the-art Institute shall prove to be a boon for raising the quality and standards of teaching in one of the hinterlands of the J&K UT. He expressed gratitude to the Chancellor (Lieutenant Governor) for his patronage. He urged the University Engineers to work with zeal for the timely completion of this project.
Er Vidhu Sharma, Superintendent Engineer gave a detailed report of the various works been undertaken in the University and assured that all the projects will be completed in the stipulated period of time.
The meeting was also attended by Prof Arvind Jasrotia, Registrar, Prof Dipanker Sengupta, Director, Poonch Campus, Sanjeev Mahajan, JR (F), Dr Dharmindra Magotra, JR(CDC), Dr Imran Farooq, PRO to VC, Er Suresh Sharma, Xen, Guneet Sudan, Incharge (Services) and Er Rajiv Gupta, AEE.
