JU VC urged to post SC/ST officers on important positions

JAMMU, July 3: Jammu University SC/ST Employees Association has urged the Vice-Chancellor Prof M P S Ishar to restore rights of the SC/ST employees working in various departments and sections of the university.
A meeting of the Association was held under the chairmanship of R L Kaith for discussing the issue of alleged violation of reservation roaster in the University. The meet alleged that the JU was not cooperating the SC/ST employees in getting their due right.
The meet urged the VC to post SC/ST officers in both Establishment and Accounts Sections of the University to ensure that no harassment was caused to the community employees.
