JAMMU, June 5: Over nine hundred candidates appeared in the Sociology combination of the ongoing Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET) here today, conducted by the University across the State.
As per the handout issued by the Office of the Public Relations, University of Jammu, 1082 candidates appeared in the four subjects (Sociology, M Lib, Music and Bio-Chemistry) of the Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET) at nine centers including Jammu, Kathua, Poonch, Rajouri, Srinagar, Udhampur, Reasi, Bhaderwah and Leh.
A total of 1152 candidates have applied for Sociology combination, out of which 960 candidates appeared in the test while 192 candidates were absent.
In M Lib combination, 38 candidates have applied and 33 candidates appeared and rest were absent where as in Music combination, out of 29 candidates who had applied 26 candidates appeared in the test and 3 were absent. In Bio-Chemistry combination, 63 candidates appeared in the test out of a total of 86 candidates who have applied for the same while 23 were absent.
