JAMMU, July 3: 3rd Telephone Advisory Committee meeting was held today at BSNL office Jammu to review the working of BSNL and the measures taken to provide services to the satisfaction of the consumers.
The meeting was chaired by senior BJP leader and Member of Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma, who is Chairman of the Telephone Advisory Committee. He sought the details regarding up gradation of BSNL towers in rural areas and expressed the concern over the poor services beyond Akhnoor upto Poonch. “BSNL has best infrastructure with highly qualified technical staff but still the people are not satisfied, which is indeed very unfortunate and the senior officials should take it seriously and plug the loop holes so that the subscribers are not made to suffer any more,” he said.
BSNL General Manager Goutam Lal, Joint GM Kulbushan Sharma, DGM HR Randhir Singh, DGM Finance Ratana Basotra, AGM SK Mahaldar, DEs, SDOs and other concerned staff were present in the meeting.
