Jugal demands flyover, foot bridges on National Highway

MP, Jugal Kishore Sharma raising an issue in Lok Sabha on Wednesday

JAMMU, July 31: Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP Lok Sabha Member from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency has demanded flyovers & foot bridges in various areas of his constituency.
The MP, while speaking in Lok Sabha thanked Minister of Road Transport and National Highways, Nitin Gadkari for constructing major important National Highways which serve as boon to the country. He said that in his constituency there is great demand to construct flyover and foot bridges at various locations on National Highway. Member of Parliament said that that number of unfortunate accidents take place in Samba,Vijaypur areas where long queues of vehicles are seen due to traffic congestion. Construction of flyover bridges at Vijaypur and Samba is primary demand in district Samba, he added.
He also said that Chichi Mata temple is very famous pilgrimage and a large number of people visit there for worship and they have to cross the road on foot which is very unsafe. There is a dire need of construction of foot bridge at National Highway near Chichi Mata Temple, he added.
He also added that Sainik Colony is in the middle of city and being thickly populated it observe traffic congestion often. To overcome this problem a flyover should also be constructed over National Highway at Sainik Colony, Jammu, he added.
Jugal also raised voice to construction foot bridge at Domail National Highway connecting towards Katra as this location is the main axis to cross National Highway stretched over a big area primarily needs foot bridge at Domail Jammu.
