JAMMU, Mar 9: Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP Member of Parliament from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha Constituency along with ex-MLA, Rajeev Sharma distributed motorized scooters among the differently abled persons here, today.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that differently abled persons can do their work more efficiently after getting these tricycles. He said that the motorized tricycle scooters provided by Social Welfare Department to the people is very good step taken by the Government to provide help to physically challenged persons and they can now do easily their professional as well as day to day work. Member of Parliament said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi ‘s Government has taken many steps to help poor and weaker sections of the society and in BJP’s tenure pensions provide by Social Welfare Department has been also increased.
He said the department has also taken many steps for welfare of these people. He also said that both the ex-MLAs, Rajeev Sharma and Krishan Bhagat of Akhnoor and Chamb constituencies have put their efforts to provide motorized tricycles scooters to the physically challenged people.
District Social Welfare Officer, RS Jamwal, Municipal Corporators, Suraj Padha, Dr Akshay Sharma, Taara Chand, BJP State publicity secretary, Suraj Singh, senior BJP leaders, Narsingh Dayal, Narinder Kesar and others were present at the occasion.
