JAMMU, Feb 12: Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member Lok Sabha from Jammu Parliamentary constituency visited village Kanyala in block Dansal in Nagrota constituency and continued second day of Gaon Chalo Abhiyaan campaign in the area.
He held public meetings at various locations and also led wall writing campaign.
Member of Parliament held meetings with senior citizens, Asha workers, ladies from Self Help Groups and prominent citizens of the society including SC Community, ST Community, OBCs and beneficiaries of CSS Schemes and discussed various Central Government Schemes and achievements of Modi Government with them.
He also listened problems and grievances of the public. He, while addressing the gathering said that the aim of “Gaon Chalo Abhiyaan” is to reach masses and to narrate about the achievements of the Modi Government and ideology of the party for which BJP has initiated this nationwide programme and involved its every worker so that they can reach the ideology of party at every doorstep. He, while narrating the achievements of Modi Government in Center said that transformation of Jammu & Kashmir started after 2014. He said that many major decisions have been taken by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s Government which have changed the face of Jammu and Kashmir. He, while taking strong note of previous Governments said that NC, Congress and PDP always betrayed and befooled the people for their vote bank.
They always tried to stop the development of people of Jammu & Kashmir and used divide and rule policy to establish their dictatorship. He said that after the formation of Modi Government in Center people got a ray of hope and believe that now they will get justice. He said that many programmes like Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra-Sarkaar Aapke Dwaar initiated by the Central Government for the betterment of every poor and man standing last in the queue.
Jugal also held wall writing campaign, also visited Sant Kabir Temple at Kanyala being part of Gaon Chalo Abhiyaan campaign.
Mandal president, Shamsher Singh, senior leaders BJP Munshi Ram, Yog Raj, Raman Kumar, Vijay Sharma, Manoj Kumar, Ajeet Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Pankaj Sharma-Yuva,Renu Sharma and others also present at the occasion.
