Jugal inaugurates Bathing Ghat in Supwal

SAMBA, Apr 18: Member of Parliament (MP), Jugal Kishore Sharma along with DDC member, Ramesh Chander and BDC member, Kamlesh Kumari today visited village Supwal here and inaugurated Bathing Ghat constructed under Member of Parliament Local Area Development (MPLAD) scheme.
Speaking on the occasion Jugal said that Bathing Ghat was the demand of Supwal locals for which funds of Rs. 5.50 lakh were released from MPLAD scheme.
He also said that the construction of Bathing Ghat is complete now and it has been dedicated to the public.
The MP hailed the work done by Rural Development Department in monitoring DDC and BDC members and Sarpanches.
He said that the Bathing Ghat can now be utilized by the public in all occasions.
“During meeting with public, development of Supwal was discussed and steps would be taken for the betterment of village Supwal,” Sharma maintained adding that steps will be taken to develop the historic pond situated at the centre of village Supwal.
The MP also visited Dev Sathan at Goran and paid obeisance.
District BJP president Samba, Amar Singh; Mandal president, Mohinder Pal Bikka, Balwinder Kumar, Sarpanch Pardeep Choudhary, Councillor Sanjeev Padha, senior BJP leaders, Jangbir Singh Chiku, Gian Chand, Ashok Kumar, Sanjay, Panch Dhruv Raj, Panch Jyoti Sharma, Surinder Sharma and others were also present on the occasion.
