JAMMU, Dec 11: A multi speciality Free Medical Camp was organized at Trimurti Mandir by Asha Kiran Welfare Society, at Janipur Colony here, today.
The camp was inaugurated by Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP Lok Sabha from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency in presence of Dr J P Gupta, chairman, of the Society, Dr Vikrant Sharma its president, Jaswant Manhas senior vice president, Hari Chand Sharma, joint secretary, Anil Kohli, S N Abrol, Vinod Kumar, Surinder Sharma, Vijay Tak, Subash Dutta and other Executive body members.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while speaking on the occasion lauded the efforts made by the NGO for providing social service in the society and organizing free medical camp for the poor and needy people. He said it is a big service to the ailing humanity.
Dr Harsh Sharma , Physician Specialist , Dr Ghanysham, Eye Specialist, Dr Ritu Sharma, Gynecologist, Dr Roshi, Child Specialist, Dr Vikrant Sharma, Ortho Surgeon, Dr Surinder Sharma, Ortho Specialsit, Dr Rajeev Sangral and Dr Ankit Mahajan , Dental Surgeon extended their free services in the camp and examined over 200 patients. Free medicines were also provided to the patients on the prescription of doctors.
The president extended his compliments to the MP , doctors fraternity, executive members and other personalities of the area facilitating the Society for arranging free medical camp in the vicinity of Janipur colony. The society further assured that it would organize more such medical camps in the surrounding areas in future.
