SAMBA, Dec 28: Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma today inaugurated Nud-Kaloha Road and Bridge constructed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna in Samba constituency.
The MP was accompanied by former Minister Davinder Kumar Manyal, DDC Members Avtar Singh, Subash Bhagat, Balwan Singh, Kartar Chand, Ramesh Lal, BDC members and senior BJP leaders Amar Singh and Jangbir Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Jugal Kishore Sharma said that village Nud to Kaloha area is thickly populated and construction of Nud-Kaloha road and bridge was a long pending demand of people of villages Nud, Kaloha, Janda and Naid. He said that Nud to Kaloha road along with bridge has been constructed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna at an estimated cost of Rs 2 crore and stretched over length of 2.62 kilometres connecting thickly populated area.
Jugal said that these villages were ignored by the previous Congress, NC and PDP led Governments who ruled the State for more than 7 decades. He said tremendous development have been seen in district Samba after formation of BJP led Government in Center in 2014.
“Many projects are sanctioned and funded during the Modi Government for providing connectivity to the major rural sector wherever required,” he said, adding, BJP is fulfilling the agenda of “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikaas and Sabka Vishwaas” and development of rural areas is its main motto. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is providing adequate funds under PMGSY to improve rural connectivity.
Davinder Kumar Manyal said that people have full faith on Bharatiya Janata Party which is seen in recently held DDC elections. He said that now more development through these DDC members get poured in rural sector and each corner will get its share of development.
ADDC Samba Rachna Sharma, ACD Siddharth Dhiman, SE PMGSY Rajan Mengi, AEE PMGSY Ashwani Mehra, AEE PWD R&B Ashwani, DDC Members, BDC Chairman, Municipal Councillors, Sarpanchs and Panchs were present on the occasion.
