Jugal Kishore calls on Union Rlys Minister

NEW DELHI, Dec 28: The BJP Member Parliament  from  Jammu-Poonch constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma  today met  Union Minister for Railways Piyush Goyal here today  and discussed various development projects regarding Railways in Jammu region.
The BJP MP laid stress on stoppage of Uttar Sampark Kranti train at Manwal Railway Station in Udhampur and urged  the Minister that the people of  Manwal- Kishenpur and adjoining area have to travel more than 60 kms after dropping at earlier station at Jammu which seems very uneasy to them.
Sharma said that the people of said area have raised their demand so many times during his tour in  the constituency and it is his foremost duty to pay heed to their demands. The MP urged to Minister for Railways to make arrangements for stoppage of Sampark Kranti at Manwal Railway Station.
Jugal Kishore had also detailed discussion about the extension of Jammu Railway Station with the Minister for Railways and also discussed the project of Jammu -Poonch Railway Line. He raised his voice to expedite the process and to start the projects at the earliest. The MP also submitted a charter of demands to the Union Railway Minister.
The Railways Minister assured the Member of Parliament that his demands would be considered on priority.
