JAMMU, Feb 26: Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament Lok Sabha today laid foundation stone for construction of ROB at Gurha Slathia in Vijaypur constituency. Chairman DDC, Keshav Dutt former Minister, Chander Prakash Ganga ,Surjeet Singh Slathia, DDC Sudarshan Singh, DDC Shilpa Dubey, district president, Kashmira Singh, ADRM Rajeev Kumar and others were also present.
Member of Parliament while speaking at the occasion said that people of Gurha Slathia, Vijaypur, Utterbehni, Purmandal and adjoining areas approached him regarding construction of road over bridge at Railway Crossing at Gurha Slathia and also during his visit to village Gurha Slathia the demand for construction of ROB was raised. He said that it was the genuine demand and people have to wait in long queues to pass through the railway crossing.
He further added that the demand for ROB at Gurha Slathia was also raised on the Parliament and Union Minister assured that this demand soon be addressed and today foundation stone laying ceremony by the Prime Minister Online and physically at the point by the people assured that “Modi ki Guarantee” means Guarantee to fulfill the promises.
He said that this ROB would get constructed with the cost of Rupees 49 crores with in a year’s time and will benefit 40 thousands of people and also to the tourists and the pilgrims moving towards Utterbehni and Purmandal holy pilgrimages.
Member of Parliament complimented Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Minister of Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw for fulfilling the demand of the people of Vijaypur constituency and adjoining areas. People also complimented MP for putting his efforts in getting their demand fulfilled.
Mandal presidents, senior BJP leaders and Ex-Sarpanches and Panches were also present on the occasion.
