Jugal, Manhas assure redressal of demands to Railway employees

JAMMU, Nov 2: On the invitation of Welfare Committee of Railway Station Jammu, BJP State President & Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Shamsher Singh Manhas, visited the area and had interaction with the employees of the Railways. Both Jugal and Manhas  listened  their grievances and problems being faced by them.
While narrating their problems, these employees told these leaders that they demand opening of a DRM office in Jammu, making increase in the   the number of platforms and making available the latest and modern equipments at Jammu Railway Station.
Both the MPs assured the members of the Railway Station Committee that their demands are quite genuine and they will personally take up the matter with the Railway Minister as well as raise the same in the coming session of the Parliament.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, on this occasion, said that Jammu Railway Station caters to more than a crore  people annually and hence it  needs to be upgraded accordingly.
Shamsher Singh Manhas said that Jammu Railway Station is one of the most busiest and crowded Station and the Railway authorities should ensure that whatever best possible can be provided should be made available.
A lage number of the members of the committee were present on the occasion.
