JAMMU, June 16: Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha constituency along with DDC Chairman, Bharat Bhushan today visited Booth Number 34,35,36 at village Karwanda and held door to door Jan Sampark campaign at Karwanda Panchayat Bhalwal in Raipur Domana constituency.
Member of Parliament also sanctioned Rupees Fifteen lakh from his Member of Parliament Local Area Development (LAD) funds for construction of Community Hall and lane drain at village Karwanda.
Member of Parliament, while addressing the gathering said that Karwanda village of Raipur Domana constituency is thickly populated and demanded for construction of Community Hall and lane drain was raised collectively by the residents of village. People informed MP that in village there is neither any facility to accommodate gathering in odd and even times. They also said that there is a old SC Mohalla in village Karwanda in which lane is in very dilapidated condition.
Member of Parliament, while listening to the demands of inhabitants sanctioned amount of Rs 15 lacs from his Local Area Development (LAD) funds so that the works can be executed. He also said that these works should be monitored by the local residents so that they should be completed with good quality and people can get their benefits for the long time.
Member of Parliament also said that on completion of BJP’s eight years’ of good governance, today every leader of party is trying to approach every door step so that no poor can be deprived off the benefit from Modi’s Welfare Scheme. He said that this campaign can be considered as awareness to the people about the development works done by the BJP led Government in Centre. He appraised that number of schemes have been launched by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for upliftment of poor class of the society. He said that it can be noted that every household is getting benefit of one or more Modi ‘s welfare schemes.
