Jugal takes stock of ongoing party programmes in Udhampur

JAMMU, Oct 1: BJP State President & MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, while chairing a meeting of Udhampur district today, said that while going to the public in connection with various programmes being undertaken, the party leaders and activists should also brief them about the welfare schemes and developmental projects launched by Central and State Governments.
The meeting, which was convened by district President & MLA Dina Nath Bhagat, had the presence of local senior leaders, district office bearers, Mandal teams and prominent party activists drawn from different areas of Udhampur district.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, who took the stock of the ongoing programmes discussed ways and means to carry on schemes to the public in more effective manner, said that the people of Jammu province in particular, had displayed their faith in BJP as they were fed up by the NC, Congress and Panthers and wanted to bring our party to power. “After registering splendid victory in Assembly elections, BJP formed coalition with PDP on the agenda of development, good governance and ending corruption, said Jugal adding that the Government is working round the clock towards mitigation of the sufferings of the people.
“ Both Central and State Governments are committed for development”, Jugal said and assured that the promises made to the people will be fulfilled.
Jugal said that the parties which ruled the State for maximum period after the independence did nothing for the people and now on being shown the way, their leaders and feeling frustrated and making baseless, misleading statements. “Udhampur district too returned MLAs of Panther Party to Assembly in previous elections but the same public realized their mistakes and voted for the BJP this time’’
BJP Senior leaders Som Raj Khajuria, Pawan Khajuria, Ramanand Baria, Rakesh Gupta, Akshay Kumar, Neelam Nargotra, Rumal Singh, Krishan Lal Sharma also addressed the  meeting.
