JAMMU, Dec 18: The election for the executive body of the Jammu University Officer’s Welfare Association (JUOWA) was held.
Vivek Slathia (Deputy Registrar-TW) won the election for the post of president against KPS Sambyal (Asstt Registrar-Accounts), while as Dr Saranpreet Kour Broca (Asstt Registrar-B&F) was declared elected as general secretary.
Ram Gopal (Asstt Registrar-Adm DDE) and Sumesh Bhargav (Asstt Registrar-Conduct) were elected as vice president and treasurer respectively, unopposed.
Ashwani Kumar (Asstt Registrar-Eval NP), Dr Rainoo Bhai (Asstt Registrar-Development/Internal Audit), RC Gupta (Deputy Registrar-Publication DDE) and PP Sharma (Asstt Registrar-Establishment) were elected as members of the executive body unopposed.
