JAMMU, Jan 11: A pool placement drive for the students of Jammu University and its offsite campuses was conducted by M/s Solitaire Infosys Pvt. Ltd. Mohali here at the PG Department of Computer Science and IT, University of Jammu today.
Solitaire Infosys is an IT company providing services in UX and UI design, android development, web development, enterprise and digital marketing besides consulting service providers who partner with organisations to achieve the business and digital transformation.
As per a statement, Prof Pawanesh Abrol, Head, Department of Computer Science and IT, University of Jammu greeted the officials from Solitaire Infosys, Mohali and apprised the audience about the different activities conducted for the students of computer science in the recent times.
He highlighted various initiatives like regular syllabi revision and updation, MoU, organising FDPs and interactive sessions on various latest topics for strengthening industry-academia relationships, it said.
Gaurav Kapoor, DGM, corporate affairs, M/s Solitaire Infosys Pvt. Ltd. Mohali, Mani Sharma, senior software developer and Sahil Prashar, junior developer interacted with the students and conducted the placement drive, it further said.
“Total 40 students were shortlisted for the technical and HR round which will be conducted at Mohali,” read the varsity’s press statement, adding, “the selection process included a written test and a technical interview. The selected students will join with the final annual package of Rs 4-6 lakhs.”
