JU’s Kathua Campus organizes webinar on ‘IT Professionals – Be 1 Step Ahead’

JAMMU, June 10: Department of Computer Science & IT, Kathua Campus, University of Jammu, organized a webinar on ‘IT Professionals – Be 1 Step Ahead’, for the students of MCA and MBA departments of the campus through Cisco WebEx platform.
Kamal K Sharma, founder Director, SaveFirst Investinsure Services Pvt Ltd. chaired the session for almost two hours with his impeccable knowledge of the core subject. He stressed upon the need of IT professionals in the present scenario. He professed great demand for IT professionals post COVID-19 pandemic in the near future. He predicted that the IT professionals shall get the magnificent possibilities from all over the globe to work from home. He fixated his speech on the need of creating Smart Goal settings in life.
Underlining the theme of the subject, he suggested that reading useful literature, listening to motivational audio programs, tracking your goals every 6 months, thinking of creating bigger and better lives will aid in attaining successful lives. He emphatically demanded the creation of innovative ideas and quoted the examples of number of entrepreneurs who have started from scratch with a new idea.
Professor Meena Sharma, Rector Kathua Campus and Chief Coordinator Campuses, JU, emphasized the importance of such webinars for the upliftment of the students, especially during the lockdown wherein Kathua Campus is committed to utilizing all ICT platforms optimally. She stated that in the current circumstances where people have joined hands with the Government in overcoming this crucial state spread across nations, education is survived by the academicians and by the enthusiasm of the learners only. She adhered to the idea that learning can take place anywhere and so she encourages the campus students for taking part in such online activities apart from their academics.
Sourabh Shastri, Organizing Secretary of the Webinar and Incharge Head, MCA Department, assured that more such activities shall be undertaken in near future to consolidate the collaboration between Academia and Industry.
