JAMMU, Mar 24: President of India today appointed Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed, Judge of Delhi High Court, as Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.
The appointment has been made by the President in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 95 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir, read an order issued by Department of Justice, Union Ministry of Law and Justice.
