JAMMU, Dec 7: First Puisne Judge of J&K High Court Justice Rajesh Bindal has been nominated as Executive Chairman of the State Legal Service Authority (SLSA).
“In exercise of the powers conferred under clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authorities Act, 1997 and in supersession of Notification SRO 369 of 2018 dated 04th of September, 2018, the Government, in consultation with the Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, nominates Justice Rajesh Bindal as Executive Chairman of the State Legal Services Authority constituted vide Notification SRO 68 of 1998 18th February 1998. The nomination shall be for a period of three years from the date of issuance of this notification”, reads an order issued by Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
