JAMMU, Dec 6: Justice Rajesh Bindal, First Puisne Judge, High Court of J&K and Executive Chairman, J&K State Legal Services Authority (SLSA) visited Bal Ashram, Nari Niketan and Juvenile Home at RS Pura.
During the visit, Justice Bindal interacted with the inmates of Shelter Homes, wherein he took stock of the facilities provided to the inmates. Further, he took note of the demands raised by the inmates and issued instructions to concerned authorities to address the demands immediately. The inmates particularly students demanded computers, academic guides and mentoring facilities.
Justice Bindal distributed books of general reading to the inmates and advised them to develop reading habits which goes a long way in performing better in life. As a rare gesture of humility, Justice Bindal personally served food to the inmates.
Prior to the visit to shelter homes, Justice Bindal visited the Court Complex, R S Pura and personally took stock of the condition of infrastructure.
Justice Bindal was accompanied by MK Sharma, Member Secretary JKSLSA; RK Wattal, Principal District & Sessions Judge and Chairman, DLSA; Naushad Ahmad, Secretary, DLSA; Gita Kumari, Munsiff and Chairman TLSC; Sheema Qasba IPS SDPO; SDM RS Pura and Ajay Saalan, District Social Welfare Officer Jammu.
