Justice given to all segments in delimitation: Priya Sethi

REASI, Feb 8: Former Minister, and senior BJP leader, Priya Sethi while expressed her satisfaction over the Delimitation Commission for precisely redrawing the constituencies across the J&K and endorsed the carving out of Mata Vaishno Devi constituency claiming that the move was necessary for giving focus to the holy town of Katra and areas falling in the vicinity.
Addressing party activists here, today Priya said it is matter of rejoice for the party activists for carving out of Shri Mata Vaishnodevi constituency which will go a long way in development of this world famous pilgrimage centre.
District president BJP, Sheel Mangotra former MLA, Baldev Sharma, DDC Chairman Sarf Singh Nag, Committee Chairman Shiva Jee also addressed the meet.
The senior BJP leader said that Delimitation Commission has shown extreme level of dexterity while accomplishing the cumbersome job of providing fair deal to all the regions of the UT of J&K. She however regretted that this should have been done much earlier to ensure justice to all the segments of the society but certain vested interests stopped this from happening. She said that better late than never because from now onwards no one will take undue advantage of unjust demarcation of constituencies as the same have been carved out evenhandedly with no scope of discrimination of any sort.
Later, Priya Sethi addressed a Shakti Kendra Sammelan in Reasi wherein she asked the party cadre to remain proactive in their endeavour to strengthen party at grass roots level. She said that unlike other political parties, the BJP workers need not to speak lies about the policies and achievements of the party because each and everything is transparent in BJP which has nationalist agenda in offing and has so much to showcase before the people which the party has accomplished in the last over seven years in power.
