JAMMU, Apr 4: The Union Territory administration of Ladakh has nominated Justice Sindhu Sharma as the Executive Chairperson of the Ladakh Legal Services Authority (LLSA) in lieu of Justice Sanjeev Kumar.
“In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 6 of the Legal Services Authorities Act 1987 read with rule 3 of the Union Territory of Ladakh Legal Services Authorities Rules 2020 notified vide SO 13, the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, in consultation with the Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, hereby nominates Justice Sindhu Sharma, Judge, High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh as the Executive Chairperson, LLSA in lieu of Justice Sanjeev Kumar,” read an order issued by Shashi Kant Bhagat, Secretary, Department of Law and Justice, UT of Ladakh.
