SRINAGAR, Oct 8: On the recommendation of Justice Tashi Rabstan, Chief Justice, High Court of J&K and Ladakh, Justice Atul Sreedharan has been appointed as Executive Chairman of the Jammu & Kashmir Legal Services Authority (JKLSA) and Justice Sanjeev Kumar as Executive Chairman of the Ladakh Legal Services Authority (LLSA) by the Govt of UT of J&K and the Administration of UT of Ladakh respectively.
Justice Atul Sreedharan was appointed as Judge of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh on April 07, 2016 and was transferred as a Judge of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh on May 10, 2023. He is currently the first Puisne Judge of the High Court of J&K and Ladakh and earlier was Executive Chairman of the Ladakh Legal Services Authority.
Justice Sanjeev Kumar was appointed as Judge of High Court of J&K and Ladakh on 06.06.2017 and he earlier also for a brief period had remained Executive Chairman of the Ladakh Legal Services Authority.
