SRINAGAR, Mar 10: Justice R Sudhakar, Judge of Madras High Court is likely to be transferred as 1st Puisne Judge of J&K High Court.
Sources said that the transfer of Justice Sudhakar to J&K High Court has already been cleared by the Supreme Court Collegium and formal orders are expected in near future.
At present Justice Muhammad Yaqoob Mir is the 1st Puisne Judge and upon transfer of Justice R Sudhakar the texture of collegium in the High Court will get changed.
Justice Sudhakar is considered to be an authority on tax law, known for environmental and heritage protection besides laws relating to senior citizens and social justice.
