KARGIL, May 11: Justice Tashi Rabstan, Senior Most Judge, High Court of J&K and Ladakh (Chairman Building & Infrastructure Committee) to U.T of Ladakh today inaugurated Reading Retreat Book Bank cum Reading Room, Kargil near Old District Hospital Kargil in presence of Malik Shabir Ahmad, Principal District and Sessions Judge Kargil, Shrikant Suse Deputy Commissioner/DEO Kargil, Ram R SSP Kargil, Fariqa Nazir (CJM Kargil) and Shafiq Mushtaq Lone (Munsiff/JMIC Sankoo) and other District Officers.
Thereafter, Justice Tashi Rabstan visited New District Court Complex Kargil, Munsiff Court Complex Sankoo and Munsiff Residence Sankoo and took stock of the ongoing construction works, issued necessary instructions for speedy completion of construction works at these sites.
He directed the concerned agency to expedite the work so that the Court Complexes come up at the earliest. Justice Tashi Rabstan also visited Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) Girls School Minji Kargil and distributed sport items among the students, took stock of facilities being provided to students.
He also had a detailed interaction with members of the Bar Association of District Court Kargil and gave them a patient hearing regarding the issues they raised.
