JAMMU, Oct 30: The Narendra Modi Government has been working for the all-around development of the minorities without any appeasement, discrimination and political exploitation. Former Minister and Ex MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) said this while interacting with dozens of people hailing from Christian Colony area of Bakshi Nagar, Ward 27, Jammu West Assembly segment.
Sharma said the allocation of funds in schemes like scholarships for minority students was more during the Modi Government than the previous UPA regime. District president BJP, Munish Khajuria also accompanied the BJP leader. The delegation was led by their leader Shazad Mattoo.
Sat Sharma said that “We have empowered poor, backwards and downtrodden people without any appeasement. We follow the Mantra of development without discrimination and empowerment with dignity as Mantra of Modi Government is justice to all and appeasement to none”, he said while interacting with them.
He stated that on various welfare schemes of Modi Government funds were allocated in minority dominated areas under PM Awas Yojana, a big percentage of beneficiaries of PM Kissan Samman Nidhi were minorities and same is the case in schemes like PM Ujjwala Yojana and PM Mudra Yojana. He also stated that BJP is the only party which thought about the welfare of the minorities and it will keep working hard until every minority segment is uplifted in the way it should be.
Munish Khajuria said that every welfare scheme launched by the Modi Government in the last eight years consists of every segment and minorities too constitute a major chunk in that. He said “We are a party with a difference and we are not working on hollow slogans”.
