JAMMU, Mar 29: The Jammu University Teachers Association (JUTA) today felicitated Prof Lokesh K Verma and Prof Rekha Choudhary who are superannuating after rendering a service of over three decades to JU.
Prof M P Singh Isher, Vice Chancellor of the University, Dean Academic Affairs Prof Neelam Saraf, Prof R D Sharma Chairman BOPEE, Special Secretary to the VC
Jai Kumar Sharma, various Deans, Rectors, Heads and Directors were present on the occasion.
Prof Lokesh Verma, has worked in JU in various capacities, including Director Physical Education, Director Academic Staff College, Controller Examinations, Dean and Head, Department of Education, Warden, Additional Controller etc
Prof Rekha Choudhary has worked as Dean Research Studies and Head of Department, Political Science.
Prof M P Singh Isher appreciated the contribution of both the superannuating teachers to
the University and hoped that they would always be available to the institution for their valuable advice and suggestions.
