JAMMU, Aug 17: Khour Police arrested two thieves including a juvenile along with stolen cash.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged with Police Station Khour by Narinder Singh Bhau, President All India Bhau Rajput Sabha regarding theft by some unknown persons from the donation box at Dev Asthan of Jai Baba Achho ji.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 57/2021 under Sections 454 and 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Khour and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Khour led by SHO Inspector Balwinder Singh and assisted by PSI Akhil Sen was constituted under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Varun Jandial and SP Rural Sanjay Sharma.
The team put in strenuous efforts and with the help of technical assistance and human input, nabbed two thieves including a juvenile. One of the arrested thieves was identified as Sunil Sharma of Nathal. From the possession of arrested persons, cash amount Rs 40,000 and recovered besides a smartphone worth Rs 10,500 was also seized which was procured out of the stolen cash.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
