RAJOURI, Feb 27: The police arrested a juvenile for committing sexual assault on a 5-year old male child at Sunderbani today.
Official sources said that one Jyoti Devi, wife of Rakesh Singh, resident of Ward No 5, Sunderbani lodged a written report at Sunderbani Police Station stating that at around 4 pm her minor son, was playing on rooftop of the house. In the meantime, one juvenile (Neighbour’s son) came there and took him to his nearby house and he committed unnatural offence and escaped.
The police registered a case FIR No.11/2023 U/S 5 (m )/06 POCSO Act , 377/IPC and started search for the absconding boy. The police team led by SHO Deepak Pathania later traced and arrested the juvenile.
