JWAM asks BJP to clear stand on Art 370

JAMMU, Mar 30: Jammu West Assembly Movement today asked the BJP to clear its stand on Article 370 and Article 35 A, saying the two-day working core group meeting of the party is just an eye wash.
In a statement issued here, Sunil Dimple, JWAM president, said BJP-PDP alliance is an unholy alliance of opportunism and the BJP has disrespected the mandate of the people of the Jammu region.
Dimple said if BJP is sincere towards people of Jammu region the BJP’s two-day core committee meeting scheduled to be held tomorrow, should clear the party’s stand on abrogation of the Article 35A and 370, scrap the meetings of the demography change, implement the delimitation commission, settle the PoK refugees within one month, grant more districts to Jammu region and immediately deport the Bangladeshies out of the State.
He said the BJP has been misleading the people of the country and the SState of J&K by promising abolishing of the Article 35A, 370 for the last 70 years but when the party is in power in the State as well as the Centre, it is silent of these issues.
The JWAM president appealed the BJP core group to stop withdrawing the FIR cases against the stone pelters and not to hold talks with separatists as well as Pakistan. He also appealed in Agenda of Alliance the implementation of delimitation commission in the State to end the discrimination with the Jammu region.
Dimple also urged the BJP core group to clear its stand on the grant of the district status to Nowshera, Sunderbani, Kalakote and Kotranka, and deportation of Rohingyas and Bangladeshis from Jammu.
