JAMMU, Dec 10: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has criticized the PHE Sub Division, Jammu City for its negligent attitude and leakages of water pipes which were repaired recently and black topped by PWD.
Sunil Dimple, president JWAM, in a press statement has served 24 hours ultimatum to the PHE Department to correct the snags immediately. He also demanded immediately start of work on the Life line Chenab Water Project as river Tawi is not meeting the requirement of the Jammu city.
Sunil Dimple alleged that number of areas are facing water shortage.
Dimple said that in case the water supplies were not restored within 24 hours, JWAM will intensify the agitation as the people can’t be left suffering for the mis-doing of the PHE Department.
