JWAM expresses concern over spike in COVID-19 cases

JAMMU, May 11: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has expressed concern over spike in COVID-19 cases in JWA Constituency.
In a press conference here today JWAM leader, Sunil Dimple demanded declaration of JWA Constituency as hotspot till lockdown to save the precious lives of the people of this largest Constituency of J&K.
He also said that COVID-19 cases have been detected at New Plot, Gurah Bakshi Nagar, Sarwal, Janipur and Haider Colony.
The JWAM leader appealed to the people of JWA Constituency to follow the guidelines laid by the authorities as a preventive measure from Coronavirus.
Dimple told reporters that roads leading roads to New Plot, Gurah Bakshi Nagar have been sealed with barbed wires.
“The government should provide free essential commodities, masks and financial help to all the residents of the sealed areas at their door step,” he said claiming that all the resident of these localities belong to weaker section of the society.
