JWAM holds protest

JAMMU, June 2: Jammu West Assembly Movement held protest here today.
The activist of JWAM led by its President Sunil Dimple assembled here and held protest against Governor’s decision for installation of langars during Shri Amarnath Yatra after June 21.
While speaking, Dimple said that such decision is discouraging the Langar organizations. “I oppose the decision of installation of langars after June 21 and that too in a very short period as Shri Amarnath Yatra will commence on July 1, 2019”, he added.
He appealed to the Governor to cooperation with the Langar organizations as they offer food to the pilgrims of Shri Amarnath Yatra.
Dimple urged the Governor to gear up his administration for the successful completion of the Shri Amaranth Yatra.
He also demanded exemption of toll tax for the pilgrims of Shri Amarnath Yatra and Langar Organizations.
He also appealed to the people to visit Shri Amarnath Shrine in large numbers and seek blessings of the Lord Shiva.
Among others present were Sham Saroop Gupta, Harbans Tondon, Vijay Khajuria, Dev Kumar Padotra, Manjit Anand, Anil Abrol, Om Parkash, Sachin Soi, Chuni Lal Bhat, etc.
