JAMMU, Mar 31: Jammu West Assembly Movement held a demonstrations under the presidentship of Sunil Dimple against the poor performance of Jammu Municipal Corporation and other agencies to meet the challenges due to recent rains. He said water was entering in the shops, business establishments, residential houses and damaging the property and business establishments in the Jammu city.
The irate traders including residents of the area raised slogans against the Jammu Municipal Corporation, PWD R&B and ERA. They demanded for repair of all the motarable roads of Jammu city including chocked nallahs which have been damaging the property of the traders and residents.
Sunil Dimple urged the Chief Minister that rains have also damaged many houses in the Jammu region and the Government should rush the Revenue teams to assess the loss and pay compensation to the shop keepers and people whose houses got damaged and who suffered the loss due to ongoing rains.
Others present were Sham Saroop Gupta, Vinod Suri, Manjiet Kumar, Papu, Shyam Luthra, Shiv Kumar, Sachin Soi, Ajay Mahta and Jagdish Magotra.
