JAMMU, Mar 4: Large number of prominent citizens of Jammu led by Sunil Dimple president Jammu West Assembly Movement held a protest rally for the irresponsible statements of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, the PDP MLAs and the BJP-PDP coalition Government of the State, today.
The protesters raised slogans against these statements and demanded resignation of the CM for his controversial statements.
The protesters demanded for separate Jammu State. They also demanded for the resignation of the Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh and the BJP MLAs who supported the Government, adding they betrayed the people of Jammu region who voted them.
Dimple said this fresh Afzal Guru mortal’s demand is an insult of the nation and the judiciary of our country.
He said the nation and the State are feeling embarrassed and insult by this BJP alliance with PDP and is like rubbing the salt on the bleeding injuries of the Jammu region people.
Dimple appealed all the BJP workers, political workers of all the parties, the people of the Jammu region and all the organizations, to join hands with him and untidily fight for the “separate Jammu State”.
Others who participated in the protest were Harbans Tondon, Sham Saroop,  Ram Kapoor, Ashok Koul, Ramesh Chander Kohli, Vinod Suri, Randhier Singh Bali,  Mulkh Raj, Ashok Koul, Rajinder Gandotra, Brahma Datt Sharma, Koda, Dass Ram, Vikas, Dev Raj and Ishar Das.
