JWAM holds protest over CM’s unilateral ceasefire proposal

JAMMU, May 13: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today held a protest against the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s proposal to the Centre regarding implementation of unilateral ceasefire in the State.
The protest demonstration was led by Sunil Dimple, president, JWAM. The protesters also expressed resentment against the directives issued by the Chief Minister in the Unified Command Meeting to the security forces to observe restraint during the operations against the attacks of the stone pelters.
Addressing the protesters, Sunil Dimple strongly criticized the Chief Minister for advocating unilateral ceasefire and appealed the Chief of the Army Staff not to stop operation ‘All Out’ against terrorists and stone pelters in Kashmir.
Dimple also came on heavily on Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly Dr Nirmal Singh for illegal construction near Army ammunition depot in Nagrota area. He demanded the crime branch and judicial inquiry of all this as to how construction was started at Nagrota near ammunition depot, which is a security threat for Army.
He also appealed the tourists of India not to visit Kashmir valley where they are targeted by the stone pelters for no reason. He advised them to visit the holy Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine, Budha Amarnath, Macchail Mata, Shiv Khodi and many other tourist spots in Poonch, Rajouri, Doda, Kishtwar, Bhadarwah and Bani, Basholi of Jammu region.
Dimple said this BJP-PDP Government has only one agenda of alliance to share the power and rule the State on the killings of the innocent people.
