JAMMU, Nov 23: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today opposed Government’s decision to release stone pelters.
Addressing a press conference here today, Sunil Dimple, president, JWAM, threatened to call for “Jammu Band”, if stone pelters are released and FIRs dropped from the cases registered against them.
Expressing great resentment over the Government decision to release 4500 stone pelters, Dimple said that they were involved in the anti-national activities like burning police stations, schools and attacking security forces.
“When ISIS is fastly spreading its tentacles in the Kashmir valley and youth of Kashmir are openly waving the Pak, ISIS, Islami flags in valley for the ‘Azadi’ in Kashmir, Government’s decision of releasing of stone pelters on the recommendations of J&K Interlocutor, Dineshwar Sharma, may prove fatal for the peace in State.
Sunil Dimple also strongly criticized the AoA agenda of BJP-PDP, stating that this AoA is anti national, anti india, anti Jammu and very dangerous for the unit of the State with the country. He said that AoA has nothing for the Jammu region and only recommends for Indo-Pak talks, dialogue with the separatists and release of the jailed anti-national agents.
He threatened of launching a ‘Jan Aandolan’ if stone pelters are released.
