JWAM protests over rising crime against women

JAMMU, May 10: Up in arms over rising crime against women in the State, Jammu West Assembly Movement today held a protest demonstration on Janipur High Court road.
The demonstration was led by Sunil Dimple, president of Jammu West Assembly Movement and a number of people, prominent citizens, traders joined the protest.
Addressing the protesters, Sunil Dimple said it was very unfortunate that the crime against the women was increasing in all districts of the Jammu region and the State with every day reports of rapes, kidnappings, sexual abuses etc. He demanded death penalty for the rapists, accused of child sexual abuse and the molesters.
Dimple also urged the Chief Minister Mahbooba Mufti to set fast track courts in Jammu Kashmir State for speedy justice to the rape victims.
