JWAM stages protest

JAMMU, Apr 8: Activists of Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) here today staged a protest demonstration demanding rapid testing and online exams for the students in J&K.
Addressing protesters JWAM leader, Sunil Dimple claimed inadequate arrangements with the Government in J&K to meet the challenges of COVID-19.
He said that Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) is not paying attention towards the fast spreading of Coronavirus in Jammu and fogging is not being done in any of the JMC Wards.
Dimple demanded free distribution of masks and sanitizers to the people of J&K and flayed heavy fining of poor people for not wearing masks.
He said that the Government should gear-up all hospitals in J&K so that the patients do not suffer from oxygen and ventilators shortage.
The JWAM leader claimed that sanitation condition is worst in Jammu city with Jammu West Assembly Constituency being the worst hit in this regard.
